Theatre de la Mode Fashion Dolls: The Survival of Haute Couture

For nearly four decades visitors to Maryhill Museum of Art have been enchanted by the mannequins of the Théâtre de la Mode. Since its spectacular revival in the 1990, the mannequins have been exhibited in whole or in part in Paris, London, Tokyo, New York, Honolulu, Baltimore and Portland Oregon. Featuring designs by some of the most influential names of Haute Couture, including Hermes, Jeanne Lanvin, Nina Ricci, and Schiaparelli.
