For nearly four decades visitors to Maryhill Museum of Art have been enchanted by the mannequins of the Théâtre de la Mode. Since its spectacular revival in the 1990, the mannequins have been exhibited in whole or in part in Paris, London, Tokyo, New York, Honolulu, Baltimore and Portland Oregon. Featuring designs by some of the most influential names of Haute Couture, including Hermes, Jeanne Lanvin, Nina Ricci, and Schiaparelli. You can enjoy the paperback book with wonderful color photos and read about the history of how these diminutive mannequins have become one of the most popular exhibits in the museum.
